Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • - Besan
  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 g Dahi
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine grated paneer, chickpea flour, whole wheat flour, chopped tomato, green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and fresh coriander leaves.
  2. 2. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring continuously to form a smooth, thick batter that can spread easily but is not runny.
  3. 3. Heat a tawa or flat skillet on medium heat and lightly grease it with olive oil or ghee.
  4. 4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a thin pancake using the back of the ladle.
  5. 5. Cook the chilla on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the tawa as needed between chillas.
  7. 7. Serve the paneer chillas hot with a side of fresh mint chutney or yogurt for dipping.
