Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- - Besan
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 g Dahi
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine grated paneer, chickpea flour, whole wheat flour, chopped tomato, green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and fresh coriander leaves.
- 2. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring continuously to form a smooth, thick batter that can spread easily but is not runny.
- 3. Heat a tawa or flat skillet on medium heat and lightly grease it with olive oil or ghee.
- 4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a thin pancake using the back of the ladle.
- 5. Cook the chilla on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the tawa as needed between chillas.
- 7. Serve the paneer chillas hot with a side of fresh mint chutney or yogurt for dipping.
