- 500 g Poha
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Carrot
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Lemon
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50G Green Chilies
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha in a colander under running water for 15-20 seconds, then set aside to drain completely.
- 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a tawa or wide pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- 3. Add curry leaves and green chilies, sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic. Then add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, carrot, and green peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well, then gently fold in the drained poha, ensuring it is evenly coated with the spices.
- 6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 7. Turn off the heat and mix in the lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
- 8. Serve warm and enjoy!
