Ingredients
- 100 g Quinoa
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g French Beans
- 250 g Carrot
- - Frozen Peas
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 ml Ghee
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa and moong dal thoroughly under running water and set aside.
- 2. Heat a pressure cooker on medium heat and add ghee. Once melted, add cumin seeds and curry leaves, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, then add the green chilies and tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes soften, about 2 minutes.
- 4. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, mixing well to combine the flavors.
- 5. Add the rinsed quinoa, moong dal, chopped vegetables (green beans, carrot, peas), and salt to the cooker. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 6. Pour enough water to cover the ingredients by 1 inch, stir, and close the lid. Pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium-high heat.
- 7. Allow the pressure to release naturally, then stir the khichdi gently to combine the cooked grains and vegetables evenly.
- 8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve warm as a complete breakfast dish.
