Ingredients
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- - Besan
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Low Fat Dahi (Pouch)
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- - Dairy Milk
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan for 3-4 minutes until aromatic, then grind them into a fine powder using a blender.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground oats, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
- 3. Add the finely chopped tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture, then stir in the yogurt and mix well to form a smooth batter. Add milk if necessary to adjust the consistency.
- 4. Heat 1 tsp of olive oil or ghee in a non-stick tawa (griddle) over medium heat. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it evenly into a thin circular shape.
- 5. Sprinkle cumin seeds on top and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding a little oil or ghee to the tawa as needed.
