Hearty Vegetarian Three-Bean Chili recipe

Ingredients

  • 190 g The Gourmet Jar Fresh Tomato Salsa
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 120 g Avocado - Tanzania
  • 2.5 Kg Austin Whole Peeled Tomato
  • 500 g Organically Grown White Onion
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Drain and rinse the canned tomatoes and red beans, and set them aside.
  2. 2. Finely chop the white onion and garlic.
  3. 3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil, and sauté the chopped white onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  4. 4. Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic to a crockpot. Add the drained tomatoes, red beans, salsa, curry powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Set the crockpot to high and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  6. 6. For enhanced flavor, reduce the heat to low and cook for an additional 2 hours if desired.
  7. 7. Serve the chili over cooked rice, garnished with sliced avocado.
