Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
- 500g to 700g Turkey
- 250 g Vistevia Sugar Free Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Soak 2 packages of bean soup mix in water overnight. Drain and rinse the beans thoroughly before cooking.
- 2. In an 8-quart kettle, combine the soaked beans, 3 cooked and shredded turkey thighs, 2 diced onions, 2 diced bell peppers, and 2 cans of diced tomatoes.
- 3. Rinse the tomato cans with water and pour the rinsing water into the kettle to ensure no flavor is wasted.
- 4. Place the kettle on high heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the kettle, and let the stew simmer for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 6. Check the consistency of the stew. If it is too thick, add a little more water and continue simmering until the desired consistency is reached.
- 7. Serve the stew hot for dinner, or let it cool and freeze portions for future meals.
