Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Ajwain
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Besan
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, garam masala, and salt.
- 2. Add finely chopped onion, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves into the bowl. Mix well to evenly distribute the spices and vegetables.
- 3. Gradually stir in the yogurt to form a smooth batter. Add a little water if needed to achieve a medium-thick consistency, ensuring no lumps remain.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circular shape, about 6 inches in diameter.
- 6. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
- 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed, to make 4-5 chillas.
- 8. Serve the hot chillas with mint chutney or plain yogurt for a delicious and wholesome breakfast.
