- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Pasteurised Butter
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds; let them splutter for a few seconds.
- 2. Add the chopped onion and green chili, sauté until the onion turns translucent, then stir in the bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; cook until the tomatoes soften and the mixture becomes a thick masala base.
- 4. Crumble the paneer into the pan, mix well with the masala, and cook for 3-4 minutes; add garam masala and stir thoroughly.
- 5. Remove the paneer bhurji from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves, setting it aside.
- 6. Lightly butter the slices of whole wheat bread and toast them on a flat pan or grill until golden brown and crisp.
