Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- Pcs Fortune Besan 200gms
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 200 g Dahi
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Begin by preparing the paneer filling. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add the ginger paste and garlic paste, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, green bell pepper, and green chili. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables soften.
- 3. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 4. Crumble the paneer into the pan, stir to combine, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Adjust salt to taste. Remove the filling from heat and set aside.
- 5. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, yogurt, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Gradually add water while whisking to form a smooth batter of medium consistency.
- 6. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of the besan batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circular chilla.
- 7. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip and cook the other side for 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 8. Place a portion of the paneer filling onto one half of the cooked chilla, fold it over, and press gently. Repeat with the remaining batter and filling.
- 9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot with yogurt or chutney on the side.
