Ingredients

  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 425 g Bambino Pep Elbows Macaroni
  • 200 g Freshcon Cooked Basmati Rice
  • 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
  • 200 g Hommade Tomato Puree
  • 200 g Hydroponic Sweet Bell Pepper (Cocktail)
  • 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
  • 1 pc (50 g) Everest Tasteeto Black Pepper | Grinder Cap Bottle

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large pan, brown 500 g of halal ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  2. 2. Add 1 cup of chopped green capsicum and 1/4 cup of diced onion to the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
  3. 3. Stir in 4 cups of water, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 can (400 g) of tomato puree, and your preferred seasoning such as salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. 4. Add 1 cup of macaroni and 1/2 cup of uncooked rice to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Mix in 1 cup of bell pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni and rice are tender.
  6. 6. Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more water if the soup becomes too thick.
  7. 7. Once everything is cooked and well combined, remove from heat and serve hot with cornbread or biscuits on the side.
