  • - Dry Rose Petals
  • 0.25 g Saffron
  • 500 g Jaggery Powder
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder
  • Unsalted Sliced Pistachio (Unsalted) (100g)

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the agar-agar strands in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes to soften them.
  2. 2. In a medium saucepan, heat the coconut milk on medium flame until it begins to simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the pan.
  3. 3. Add the soaked agar-agar strands to the simmering coconut milk. Stir continuously for 5-7 minutes until the agar-agar completely dissolves.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the jaggery powder and cardamom powder. Stir well until the jaggery dissolves completely, ensuring no lumps remain.
  5. 5. Turn off the heat and add rose water to the mixture. Stir to combine and allow the mixture to cool slightly for 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Pour the mixture into small dessert molds or a shallow dish. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
  7. 7. Once set, gently remove the dessert from the molds or slice it into desired shapes if using a shallow dish.
  8. 8. Garnish with edible rose petals, chopped pistachios, and saffron strands, if desired, before serving chilled.
