A flavorful and crispy fried red snapper dish marinated with fresh lemon and topped with onions, perfect for a satisfying halal dinner.
Ingredients
- 175 g Lemon - Imported
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 5 ltr Saffola Sunflower And Rice Bran Blended Cooking Oil - Free 1 L Pouch
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Place the red snapper fillets on a plate and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over both sides of the fish.
- 3. Squeeze the juice of 3 lemons over the fish, ensuring it is well coated, and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- 4. Slice 1 onion into thin rings and arrange them on top of the marinated fish.
- 5. Heat 1 cup of oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 6. Carefully place the fish into the pan and deep fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 7. Remove the fish from the pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 8. Serve the fried snapper hot with your desired side dish, such as rice or a fresh salad.
