A hearty and flavorful chili made with halal ground beef, fresh vegetables, and a blend of spices. Perfect for a comforting dinner that satisfies both taste and dietary needs.
Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 400 g Pastazara Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 kg Rajdhani Red Rajma
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed
Instructions
- 1. In a large pot, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 diced green pepper, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- 2. Add 1 cup of cooked and mashed red kidney beans to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes to develop flavor.
- 3. Stir in 4 diced tomatoes, 2 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper. Cook for 5 minutes to combine the flavors.
- 4. Add 4 cups of tomato sauce and 3 cups of whole red kidney beans. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the chili simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Uncover the pot and continue to simmer on low heat for an additional hour, stirring occasionally, until the chili reaches your desired thickness.
- 7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as chopped cilantro, shredded cheese, or a dollop of sour cream.
