Ingredients
- 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
- 1 Pack Button Mushroom (Anabe)
- 100 g The Baker'S Dozen Zero Maida Pita Bread, Whole Wheat
- 390 g The Gourmet Jar Classic Pizza Sauce
- 450 g Del Monte Black Sliced Olives
Instructions
- 1. Spray your counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- 2. Arrange 8 pita breads side by side, slightly overlapping, on a clean surface to form a rough rectangle approximately 13x18 inches.
- 3. Cover the arranged pita breads with plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes while you prepare the toppings.
- 4. Remove the plastic wrap and transfer the pita bread arrangement to a lightly sprayed 11x17-inch baking pan.
- 5. Use a fork to poke holes across the pita breads to prevent bubbles from forming during baking.
- 6. Pre-bake the pita bread arrangement in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes, or until it starts to firm up slightly.
- 7. Remove the pre-baked crust from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- 8. Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 9. Divide the pizza into sections and let each family member add their favorite toppings, such as sliced olives, bell peppers, and button mushrooms.
- 11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake at 350°F for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through.
- 12. Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice, and serve.
