About this recipe
A rich and flavorful coconut curry featuring tender halal chicken, aromatic spices, and creamy coconut cream, perfect for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 1 Kg ( Imported) Knorr Chicken Seasoning
- 400 Ml Chaokoh Coconut Cream
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
- 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- 2. Add 2 teaspoons of curry powder to the pan and stir well. Gradually add enough water to create a paste, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- 3. Let the curry paste simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- 4. Add the diced potatoes, halal chicken pieces, and 2 teaspoons of chicken seasoning to the pan. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is fully cooked, about 25-30 minutes.
- 6. Stir in 1 can of coconut cream and the juice of 1 lemon just before serving. Mix well and let it heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- 7. Serve the curry hot with steamed rice or flatbread for a complete meal.
