A hearty and flavorful baked casserole featuring layers of potatoes, vegetables, and halal ground beef, perfect for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1 pc (50 g) On1Y Pepper Grinder
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
- 250 g Vistevia Sugar Free Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Peel and slice 2 cups of potatoes into thin rounds. Dice 1 cup of bell pepper, 2 cups of green capsicum, and 1 onion.
- 3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion, bell pepper, and green capsicum until softened. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
- 4. In a 3-quart casserole dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the sautéed vegetables. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- 5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Sprinkle with another pinch of salt and pepper.
- 6. Pour the tomato sauce evenly over the top of the layers. Spread the sliced onion over the tomato sauce.
- 7. Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the flavors are well combined.
- 8. Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
