Ingredients

  • 500 g Tomato Green
  • 300 g Washington Royal Gala Apple (Seb)
  • 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
  • 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
  • 1 pack (200 g) Daily Good Raisin Golden | Kishmish
  • 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 pack (50 g) Tmi Colman Laung Cloves
  • 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)

Instructions

  1. 1. Finely chop 1.8 kg green tomatoes and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of salt over them. Let them sit for 30 minutes, then drain the excess liquid.
  2. 2. Peel, core, and finely chop 2.3 kg apples. Add them to the drained tomatoes along with 900 g raisins.
  3. 3. In a large pot, combine the tomato, apple, and raisin mixture with 120 ml lemon juice, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 1 tablespoon cloves, and 2.3 kg sugar.
  4. 4. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruits are soft and the mixture thickens, about 45-60 minutes.
  5. 5. Allow the relish to cool completely before transferring it to sterilized jars or serving as a dinner accompaniment.
