Ingredients
- 500 g Urad Dal
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 1 kg Rice
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Blend the soaked rice and urad dal into a smooth batter, adding salt to taste. Let it ferment overnight or for 8 hours.
- 2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida, and let them splutter. Add diced tomatoes, shredded cabbage, and diced green bell pepper. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
- 3. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Mix thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes. Add mashed yellow lentils to bind the masala mixture and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 4. Heat a tawa or flat pan, grease lightly, and pour a ladleful of dosa batter. Spread it in a circular motion to create a thin pancake. Cook until golden and crisp on both sides.
- 5. Place a portion of the prepared vegetable masala filling in the center of the dosa, fold into a wrap, and remove from the tawa.
- 6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
