Ingredients

  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 250 ml Coco Mama Coconut Milk
  • 200 g Whole Farm Premium Dried Apricots/Khubani
  • 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
  • 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
  • 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder to the oil, stirring for 30 seconds to release their aroma.
  3. 3. Pour in 3 cups of coconut milk and 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce, then bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. 4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of rice and 1/2 cup of dried apricots, ensuring everything is evenly combined.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let the rice cook for 20 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
