Ingredients
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 250 ml Coco Mama Coconut Milk
- 200 g Whole Farm Premium Dried Apricots/Khubani
- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder to the oil, stirring for 30 seconds to release their aroma.
- 3. Pour in 3 cups of coconut milk and 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce, then bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of rice and 1/2 cup of dried apricots, ensuring everything is evenly combined.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let the rice cook for 20 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
- 6. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve warm as a flavorful main or side dish.
