- 250 G Green Mug Dal
- - Chilli Green 100 G
- 250g Ginger
- 500g Swad Roasted Rice Powder 500g
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 500 g Onion
- - Grated Coconut
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the green gram (moong dal) in water for 6-8 hours or overnight, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Blend the soaked green gram with green chilies, ginger, and salt to form a smooth batter, adding minimal water as needed.
- 3. Transfer the batter to a bowl and mix in cumin seeds, rice flour, and chopped coriander leaves for added flavor and texture.
- 4. Heat a tawa or flat pan on medium heat and grease it lightly with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it thinly in a circular motion to form a pancake.
- 6. Sprinkle finely chopped onions and grated coconut evenly over the pancake, pressing gently so they adhere.
- 7. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the bottom turns golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 8. Flip the pancake and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
- 9. Repeat the process for the remaining batter, serving the pancakes hot with chutneys like coconut or tomato chutney.
