Ingredients

  • 500G Poha (Flattened Rice)
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • - Frozen Peas
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the poha under running water in a colander until it softens, then let it drain completely.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds. Once they start to splutter, add asafoetida, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add turmeric powder, green peas, capsicum, and tomatoes. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still firm.
  4. 4. Lower the heat and add the softened poha and salt. Mix everything gently to combine and ensure the poha is evenly coated with the spices.
  5. 5. Cover the pan and let the poha steam for 2-3 minutes on low heat. Turn off the heat and stir in the lemon juice.
  6. 6. Garnish with roasted peanuts and freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot and enjoy!
