Ingredients

  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • 200Ml Kara Coconut Milk Classic (200ml)
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • - Green Peas
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and chopped green chilies. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and sugar.
  4. 4. Mix in the diced carrots, capsicum, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are partially tender.
  5. 5. Add the soaked millet to the pan and mix well. Pour in the coconut milk and 100ml of water, stirring to combine.
  6. 6. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is cooked and absorbs the liquid.
  7. 7. Remove from heat and add lime juice and chopped coriander leaves. Mix gently to combine.
  8. 8. Serve warm, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
