Ingredients
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 700 G Cauliflower (700Gm – 800Gm)
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- 1 l Refined Soyabean Oil
- 200 g Table Salt
- 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- - Green Chilli Sauce
- - Corn Starch Powder
- 10G Red Chili Powder
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cabbage thoroughly and chop it into medium-sized florets.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine fortune maida/refined flour, a pinch of salt from Keya Table Salt, and some water to make a smooth batter. Ensure the batter is thick enough to coat the cabbage.
- 3. Heat sunny soya fit refined soybean oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 4. Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are well coated, and carefully fry them in the hot oil until they turn golden brown. Remove and place on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
- 5. Finely chop the garlic and ginger, and thinly slice the onions and spring onions.
- 6. In a separate pan, add a little soya bean oil and sauté the chopped garlic, ginger, and onions until they are golden brown.
- 7. Add smith & jones ginger garlic paste to the pan and fry for another minute.
- 8. Stir in kissan fresh tomato ketchup, nilons green chilli sauce, nilon's soya sauce, and a dash of sams white cooking vinegar to the pan, and mix well.
- 9. In a small bowl, mix weikfield corn starch powder with water to form a slurry. Add this into the pan while stirring continuously to thicken the sauce.
- 10. Add the fried cabbage florets to the pan, tossing them gently in the sauce until they are well coated.
- 11. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot. Enjoy your Gobhi Manchurian!
