Ingredients

  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 700 G Cauliflower (700Gm – 800Gm)
  • 80 g Soya Sauce
  • 1 l Refined Soyabean Oil
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
  • 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
  • - Green Chilli Sauce
  • - Corn Starch Powder
  • 10G Red Chili Powder
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the cabbage thoroughly and chop it into medium-sized florets.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine fortune maida/refined flour, a pinch of salt from Keya Table Salt, and some water to make a smooth batter. Ensure the batter is thick enough to coat the cabbage.
  3. 3. Heat sunny soya fit refined soybean oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are well coated, and carefully fry them in the hot oil until they turn golden brown. Remove and place on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
  5. 5. Finely chop the garlic and ginger, and thinly slice the onions and spring onions.
  6. 6. In a separate pan, add a little soya bean oil and sauté the chopped garlic, ginger, and onions until they are golden brown.
  7. 7. Add smith & jones ginger garlic paste to the pan and fry for another minute.
  8. 8. Stir in kissan fresh tomato ketchup, nilons green chilli sauce, nilon's soya sauce, and a dash of sams white cooking vinegar to the pan, and mix well.
  9. 9. In a small bowl, mix weikfield corn starch powder with water to form a slurry. Add this into the pan while stirring continuously to thicken the sauce.
  10. 10. Add the fried cabbage florets to the pan, tossing them gently in the sauce until they are well coated.
