Ingredients
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 1 pc Broccoli
- 236 ml Maple Syrup
- - Rice Vinegar
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Til
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 100 g Cornflour
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu for 10-15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the -free soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and asafoetida to make the teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and pan-fry until golden and crisp on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over the vegetables. Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 6. Add the tofu back to the pan and toss everything together to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 7. To assemble, divide the cooked rice into bowls. Top with the teriyaki tofu and vegetables. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped coriander.
