Ingredients

  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 1 pc Broccoli
  • 236 ml Maple Syrup
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Til
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Press the tofu for 10-15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the -free soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and asafoetida to make the teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and pan-fry until golden and crisp on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to low and pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over the vegetables. Mix well and let it simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. 6. Add the tofu back to the pan and toss everything together to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  7. 7. To assemble, divide the cooked rice into bowls. Top with the teriyaki tofu and vegetables. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped coriander.
