Ingredients

  • 500 g Rava
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100G Oleo
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the semolina, yogurt, and water to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the semolina to absorb moisture.
  2. 2. Add the finely chopped vegetables, coriander leaves, green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the batter. Mix well to evenly incorporate all the ingredients.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil.
  4. 4. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly into a circular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. 5. Cook the cheela on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown. Flip it carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan lightly for each cheela.
  7. 7. Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup for a complete and satisfying breakfast.
