Ingredients

  • 100 g Oats Jumbo
  • 500 g Suji
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Grind the rolled oats into a fine powder using a blender or grinder, then mix it with semolina in a large bowl.
  2. 2. Add yogurt to the dry mix and stir well to form a thick batter. Gradually add water to achieve a pouring consistency. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the finely chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, grated carrots, coriander leaves, green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt into the batter.
  4. 4. Heat a tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking oil.
  5. 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a circular shape, keeping it thick for a fluffy texture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  6. 6. Flip the uttapam carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and golden.
  7. 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the tawa as needed.
