Ingredients
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- 500 g Suji
- 200 g Dahi
- 250 g Carrot
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Grind the rolled oats into a fine powder using a blender or grinder, then mix it with semolina in a large bowl.
- 2. Add yogurt to the dry mix and stir well to form a thick batter. Gradually add water to achieve a pouring consistency. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
- 3. Stir in the finely chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, grated carrots, coriander leaves, green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt into the batter.
- 4. Heat a tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a circular shape, keeping it thick for a fluffy texture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- 6. Flip the uttapam carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and golden.
- 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the tawa as needed.
- 8. Serve the hot uttapams with coconut chutney or sambar for a delightful and healthy breakfast.
