  • 200 g Dahi
  • 1 box Baking Soda
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and finely chop the spinach leaves. Grate the paneer and set both aside.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, yogurt, chopped spinach, paneer, green chili, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. 3. Gradually add water to the mixture while stirring to create a smooth, lump-free batter of medium consistency. Add baking soda and mix well.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with ghee or oil.
  5. 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it gently to form a thin, round cheela. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift and the underside is golden brown.
  6. 6. Flip the cheela and cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring it is cooked through and crispy on both sides.
  7. 7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
  8. 8. Garnish the cheelas with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
