Ingredients
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 500g Swad Roasted Rice Powder 500g
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Grated Coconut
- 200 g Roasted Chana Dal
- 250g Green Chilli
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the moong dal in water for 4-5 hours or overnight, then drain and grind it with green chili, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder into a smooth batter, adding just enough water to reach a pouring consistency.
- 2. Mix rice flour, salt, and chopped coriander into the batter and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 3. Heat a non-stick pan or dosa tawa, grease lightly with oil, and pour a ladleful of batter, spreading it thinly into a round dosa shape. Cook on medium heat until golden and crispy on one side, then flip and cook briefly on the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- 4. For the coconut chutney, grind grated coconut, roasted chana dal, green chili, and salt with a little water into a smooth paste. Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves in hot oil and pour over the chutney.
- 5. Serve the dosas hot with coconut chutney and warm sambar on the side for a complete breakfast.
