Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 100 g Methi
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Ajwain
  • 100G Oleo
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and finely chop the fresh fenugreek leaves, ensuring any excess moisture is removed.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, fenugreek leaves, yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, carom seeds, and salt.
  3. 3. Gradually add oil and knead the mixture into a soft and pliable dough. If needed, add a small amount of water to bring the dough together.
  4. 4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball and roll out into a thin, round paratha using a rolling pin.
  6. 6. Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat. Place a rolled paratha on the hot skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, applying ghee if desired, until both sides are golden and slightly puffed.
  7. 7. Repeat with the remaining dough balls and stack the cooked parathas in a clean kitchen towel to keep warm.
  8. 8. Serve the fluffy methi masala parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or your favorite chutney.
