Ingredients
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 100 g Methi
- 200 g Dahi
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Ajwain
- 100G Oleo
- 200 ml Ghee
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and finely chop the fresh fenugreek leaves, ensuring any excess moisture is removed.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, fenugreek leaves, yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, carom seeds, and salt.
- 3. Gradually add oil and knead the mixture into a soft and pliable dough. If needed, add a small amount of water to bring the dough together.
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- 5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball and roll out into a thin, round paratha using a rolling pin.
- 6. Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat. Place a rolled paratha on the hot skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, applying ghee if desired, until both sides are golden and slightly puffed.
- 7. Repeat with the remaining dough balls and stack the cooked parathas in a clean kitchen towel to keep warm.
- 8. Serve the fluffy methi masala parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or your favorite chutney.
