- 200 g Dahi
- 250 g Carrot
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1 box Baking Soda
- 100G Oleo
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 500 g Rava
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine semolina, yogurt, and 1/2 tsp salt to form a thick batter. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chili. Sauté until aromatic.
- 3. Add grated carrot, green peas, and capsicum to the pan. Stir in turmeric powder and red chili powder, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Fold the cooked vegetables into the semolina batter, ensuring even distribution, then add baking soda and mix gently.
- 5. Grease idli molds with a little oil, pour the batter into the molds, and steam for 12-15 minutes until the idlis are cooked and fluffy.
- 6. Remove the idlis from the molds and serve warm with coriander chutney or coconut chutney for a complete meal.
