  • 200 g Dahi
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 1 box Baking Soda
  • 100G Oleo
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 500 g Rava
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine semolina, yogurt, and 1/2 tsp salt to form a thick batter. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chili. Sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Add grated carrot, green peas, and capsicum to the pan. Stir in turmeric powder and red chili powder, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4. Fold the cooked vegetables into the semolina batter, ensuring even distribution, then add baking soda and mix gently.
  5. 5. Grease idli molds with a little oil, pour the batter into the molds, and steam for 12-15 minutes until the idlis are cooked and fluffy.
  6. 6. Remove the idlis from the molds and serve warm with coriander chutney or coconut chutney for a complete meal.
