Ingredients
- 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Carrot
- - Green Peas
- 100 G Lasun Khobra Chutney
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the idlis by steaming the idli batter in an idli steamer for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Set aside to cool slightly.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and sauté briefly.
- 3. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until softened.
- 4. Add the grated carrot and green peas to the pan. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 5. Season the vegetable mixture with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- 6. Arrange the steamed idlis in serving bowls. Top with the spiced vegetable mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and drizzle with coconut chutney. Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful breakfast bowl.
