Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 G Lasun Khobra Chutney
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the idlis by steaming the idli batter in an idli steamer for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves and sauté briefly.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until softened.
  4. 4. Add the grated carrot and green peas to the pan. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. 5. Season the vegetable mixture with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
  6. 6. Arrange the steamed idlis in serving bowls. Top with the spiced vegetable mixture, ensuring even distribution.
