Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 400 Ml Kara Coconut Cream
- 500 g Jaggery Powder
- 50 g Cinnamon Powder
- 200 ml Ghee
- 100 g Almonds
- 100 g Kaju Kani
- 100g Good Life Yellow Kishmish 100 G
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Cardamom Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under cold water and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water after soaking.
- 2. Heat ghee in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the soaked millet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.
- 3. Add turmeric powder and salt to the millet, then pour in 300ml of coconut milk. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- 4. Reduce the heat to low and let the millet simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it absorbs most of the liquid and turns soft.
- 5. Stir in the remaining 100ml of coconut milk, coconut cream, jaggery powder, cardamom powder, and cinnamon powder. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 6. Meanwhile, dry roast the almonds, cashews, and raisins in a small pan over low heat until golden and fragrant. Set aside.
- 7. Serve the porridge warm in bowls, topped with the roasted nuts and raisins for added texture and flavor.
