- 500 Grms Ragi / Nachni Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- - Rice Flour
- 500 g Urad Dal
- 200 g Dahi
- 1 box Baking Soda
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Soak the urad dal in water for 4 hours, then drain and grind into a smooth paste using minimal water.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ragi flour, rice flour, and the urad dal paste, mixing thoroughly.
- 3. Add the yogurt, cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, salt, and enough water to form a smooth, pourable batter, then let it ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight.
- 4. Once fermented, stir the batter gently and add the baking soda and chopped coriander leaves, mixing until well incorporated.
- 5. Heat a non-stick tawa or flat skillet over medium heat, and lightly grease with vegetable oil.
- 6. Pour a ladle of batter onto the hot skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
- 7. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift, then flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- 8. Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet as needed, and serve the dosas hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
