Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 500 g Onion
- 50 g Masala Sambhar
- - Grated Coconut
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 200 ml Ghee
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly under running water and soak it in water for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil in a large pan on medium heat. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and green chilies to the pan. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
- 4. Stir in the mixed vegetables, turmeric powder, and sambar powder. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- 5. Add the foxtail millet to the pan and mix until well combined with the vegetables and spices.
- 6. Pour in 2.5 cups of water and add salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the millet is cooked and the water is absorbed.
- 7. Once cooked, fluff the millet gently with a fork. Add grated coconut, lemon juice, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
- 8. Serve hot as a wholesome breakfast, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
