Ingredients

  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250 g French Beans
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly under running water and soak it for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat ghee in a deep pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped green chili and sauté for 1 minute. Then, add the turmeric and coriander powder and stir well.
  4. 4. Mix in the chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and release their juices.
  5. 5. Add the chopped green beans and green peas, sauté for another 2-3 minutes, and then stir in the drained millet.
  6. 6. Pour in 3 cups of hot water, add salt and black pepper, and bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. 7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is cooked and the porridge reaches a creamy consistency.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
