Ingredients
- 200 G Star Lion Rice Vermicelli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Carrot
- 250 g French Beans
- 100 g Lemon
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the sliced onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add the chopped tomato and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- 3. Stir in the carrot, green beans, and green peas, and cook for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes for the spices to blend.
- 5. Add the vermicelli and gently toss with the vegetables and spices. Cook for 2 minutes to lightly toast the vermicelli.
- 6. Add 2 cups of hot water, stir, and cover the pan. Cook for 7-8 minutes on low heat until the vermicelli absorbs the water and becomes soft.
- 7. Turn off the heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and give it a light toss to combine.
- 8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing of flavor.
