Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 200 g Dahi
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- - Dairy Milk
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Fresh Cream
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil or ghee in a pan and lightly sauté the paneer cubes until golden. Remove and set aside.
- 2. In the same pan, heat the remaining oil or ghee and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onion and green chili. Sauté until the onion turns golden brown.
- 3. Stir in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, and cook for 1 minute to release the spices' aroma.
- 4. Add the tomato puree and cook on medium heat until the oil separates, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5. Lower the heat and add the yogurt gradually while stirring to prevent curdling. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- 6. Pour in the milk, season with salt, and simmer the gravy for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- 7. Add the sautéed paneer cubes and mix well. Simmer the dish on low heat for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 8. Stir in the fresh cream and garam masala, and cook for 2 more minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
