Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Onion
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • - Dairy Milk
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Fresh Cream
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil or ghee in a pan and lightly sauté the paneer cubes until golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pan, heat the remaining oil or ghee and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onion and green chili. Sauté until the onion turns golden brown.
  3. 3. Stir in the turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder, and cook for 1 minute to release the spices' aroma.
  4. 4. Add the tomato puree and cook on medium heat until the oil separates, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5. Lower the heat and add the yogurt gradually while stirring to prevent curdling. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Pour in the milk, season with salt, and simmer the gravy for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  7. 7. Add the sautéed paneer cubes and mix well. Simmer the dish on low heat for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. 8. Stir in the fresh cream and garam masala, and cook for 2 more minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
