Ingredients
- 500 g Suji
- 200 g Dahi
- 250 g Carrot
- 500 g Onion
- - Frozen Peas
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the semolina, yogurt, and 1/4 cup of water to form a thick batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the semolina to absorb the liquid.
- 2. Add the chopped capsicum, grated carrot, onions, steamed peas, coriander leaves, and green chili to the rested batter. Mix well.
- 3. Stir in the cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, ginger paste, and salt. Adjust the consistency with a little water if the batter is too thick.
- 4. Heat a non-stick kadhai or skillet and lightly grease it with 1 tsp of oil.
- 5. Take small portions of the batter and shape them into flat, round tikkas. Place them on the hot kadhai.
- 6. Cook the tikkas on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crisp. Add a little oil if needed while flipping.
- 7. Once cooked, transfer the tikkas onto a serving plate. Serve hot with mint chutney or a side of yogurt.
