- 500 g Poha
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Carrot
- - Frozen Peas
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha in a colander under cold running water for 1-2 minutes, then let it drain completely.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and green chili, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
- 4. Stir in the diced carrot and green peas, cooking for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, and mix well. Cook for another minute.
- 6. Gently fold in the rinsed poha and chopped tomato, mixing until the poha is evenly coated with the spices. Cook for 2-3 minutes to warm through.
- 7. Turn off the heat, squeeze lemon juice over the poha, and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
