  • 250g Swad White Aval 250g
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Green Peas
  • - Grated Coconut
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the flattened rice (poha) in a colander under cold running water until softened, then set aside to drain.
  2. 2. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds; allow them to crackle before adding curry leaves and chopped green chili.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent, then stir in the carrots and green peas and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  4. 4. Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt over the vegetables, mixing well, then gently fold in the softened poha to combine evenly.
  5. 5. Lower the heat and add grated fresh coconut, stirring gently to infuse the dish with its rich flavor; cook for 2 minutes.
