Ingredients

  • 250 G Masur Dal
  • - Switz Puff Dough Paratha
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they start to sizzle, add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  2. 2. Add chopped tomato to the pan and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt, cooking for another minute.
  3. 3. Mix in the cooked lentils and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. 4. In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, and yogurt. Season with black pepper and a pinch of salt.
  5. 5. Warm the parathas on a skillet or tawa until pliable and soft. Lay each paratha flat and spread a portion of the lentil mixture in the center.
  6. 6. Top the lentils with the vegetable-yogurt mixture, then fold the sides of the paratha to create a wrap. Serve warm.
