Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 25 g Kasuri Methi
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt. Add the paneer cubes and coat them well with the marinade. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat. Place the marinated paneer cubes on the tawa and cook until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same tawa, heat the remaining oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the tomatoes break down and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
  5. 5. Add the garam masala and kasuri methi to the masala, and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water to adjust the consistency.
  6. 6. Gently fold in the crispy paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine. Adjust salt if needed.
  7. 7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
