Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Onion
- 200 g Dahi
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 25 g Kasuri Methi
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt. Add the paneer cubes and coat them well with the marinade. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat. Place the marinated paneer cubes on the tawa and cook until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same tawa, heat the remaining oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the tomatoes break down and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
- 5. Add the garam masala and kasuri methi to the masala, and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water to adjust the consistency.
- 6. Gently fold in the crispy paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine. Adjust salt if needed.
- 7. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
