Ingredients
- 250 g French Beans - 250 G
- 100 g The Select Aisle Baking Soda
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 1L & Mustard Oil 1L Pet
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 100 g Jk Jeera Powder / Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Annapurna Iodized Crystal Salt | Kal Uppu
- 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed
Instructions
- 1. Wash and trim 250 g of green beans, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of chickpea flour, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of cumin, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
- 3. Gradually add 3/4 cup of buttermilk to the dry mixture, whisking until a smooth, thick batter forms.
- 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add enough oil to shallow fry.
- 5. Dip each green bean into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and carefully place it into the hot oil.
- 6. Fry the green beans in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- 7. Remove the fried green beans from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 8. Sprinkle the fritters with 1/4 cup of grated cheese while still hot, allowing it to melt slightly.
- 9. Serve the crispy green bean fritters warm as a main dish or alongside a fresh salad.
