Perfect for a cozy family morning, it balances protein and nutrients in a wholesome, satisfying meal that pairs wonderfully with parathas or toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • - Malai Paneer
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Lemon
  • - Fresh Cream
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a tawa or large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter or ghee. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onions and green chilies, sauté until the onions turn golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil begins to separate, about 5-6 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the mixed bell peppers and green peas, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still retain a slight crunch.
  5. 5. Crumble the paneer into the mixture and gently fold it in. Add the cream and stir well to combine, cooking for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. 6. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves over the bhurji, then squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Mix well and cook for 1 more minute.
  7. 7. Serve hot with parathas, toasted bread, or as a standalone dish for a hearty breakfast.
