Ingredients

  • 250 g Mutton
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 20 g Cardamom Green
  • 20 g Cinnamon
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Tej Patta
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat, add bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon stick, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  2. 2. Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  3. 3. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute, then add turmeric, cumin, coriander, and red chili powder, stirring well.
  4. 4. Add the mutton pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned and coated with spices.
  5. 5. Stir in the tomato puree and cook for 8-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the mixture to thicken slightly.
  6. 6. Lower the heat and add yogurt gradually, stirring continuously to avoid curdling.
  7. 7. Add salt and 1 cup of water, cover, and simmer for 45-60 minutes, or until the mutton is tender and the gravy reaches a creamy consistency.
