- - Chicken Breast
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 200 g Dahi
- - Fresh Cream
- 100G Oleo
- 200 ml Ghee
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the finely sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- 2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens and the oil separates from the sides.
- 4. Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and let the spices cook for 2 minutes.
- 5. Add the chicken thighs to the pan, stirring to coat them evenly with the spice mixture. Cook for 5 minutes until the chicken starts to brown slightly.
- 6. Lower the heat and add the yogurt gradually, stirring constantly to prevent curdling. Cover and let the chicken simmer for 15 minutes.
- 7. Stir in the cashew paste and fresh cream, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the gravy is rich and creamy.
- 8. Finish with garam masala and a tablespoon of ghee, mixing well. Simmer for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- 9. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with naan or basmati rice.
