Ingredients
- - Grated Coconut
- - Toned Milk
- 500G Madhur Sugar
- Loose Cardamom
Instructions
- 1. Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and add 1 cup of grated coconut. Dry roast it for 2-3 minutes until it turns slightly aromatic. Remove half of the coconut and set aside for later use.
- 2. In the same pan, add 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/4 tsp cardamom powder. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 3. Add the remaining roasted coconut back into the pan and mix well. Cook on low flame until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan (about 5-7 minutes).
- 4. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it is warm enough to handle.
- 5. Grease your palms with a little ghee or oil. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round laddus (balls).
- 6. Roll each laddu in the reserved grated coconut to coat evenly. Place them on a plate and let them set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
