- 500 g Onion
- - Bell Peppers
- - Hakka Noodles Veg
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 1 l Refined Soyabean Oil
- - Green Chilli Sauce
- 500 g Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Start by boiling water in a large pot. Add the desi hakka noodles and cook until they are soft, then drain and set them aside.
- 2. Wash and cut all the vegetables: shred the cabbage, slice the capsicum, chop the onion, and finely chop the spring onion greens. Mince the garlic and ginger.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunny soya fit refined soyabean oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant.
- 4. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until translucent.
- 5. Increase the heat to high and add the shredded cabbage and sliced capsicum. Stir-fry the vegetables quickly for about 2-3 minutes to retain their crunch.
- 6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, stirring gently to combine with the vegetables.
- 7. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of del monte brewed vinegar, 2 tablespoons of green chilli sauce, 2 tablespoons of weikfield red chilli sauce, and 2 tablespoons of kissan fresh tomato ketchup. Add a pinch of madhur sugar to balance the flavors.
- 8. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables in the pan. Toss everything together, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
- 9. Finally, sprinkle the chopped spring onion greens over the top and serve your chowmein hot.
