Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 1Bunch Pudina
  • 500 g Chicken Whole
  • 500 g Chana Dal
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the chana dal thoroughly and soak it in warm water for 1 hour. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chana dal, minced chicken, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, hing, and salt. Cook on medium heat for 2 whistles or until the dal is soft and the chicken is cooked. Let it cool completely.
  3. 3. Transfer the cooked mixture to a blender and pulse until smooth but not overly fine. Add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves to the mixture. Mix thoroughly to combine.
  4. 4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties or kebabs about 1 inch thick.
  5. 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with ghee or oil.
  6. 6. Arrange the kebabs in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
