- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1Bunch Pudina
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 500 g Chana Dal
- 200 ml Ghee
- 50G Green Chilies
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chana dal thoroughly and soak it in warm water for 1 hour. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chana dal, minced chicken, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, hing, and salt. Cook on medium heat for 2 whistles or until the dal is soft and the chicken is cooked. Let it cool completely.
- 3. Transfer the cooked mixture to a blender and pulse until smooth but not overly fine. Add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves to the mixture. Mix thoroughly to combine.
- 4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties or kebabs about 1 inch thick.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with ghee or oil.
- 6. Arrange the kebabs in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
- 7. Remove the kebabs from the air fryer and serve hot with mint chutney or plain yogurt.
