Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Ghee
- 500 g Onion
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 50 g Cloves
- - Coriander Powder
- 200 g Almond Flour
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Cardamom Green
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- 100 g Tej Patta
- 500 ml Water
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
Instructions
- 1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Remove half for garnishing and set aside.
- 3. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaf to the remaining onions in the pan. Sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.
- 4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Lower the heat and add ground coriander, garam masala, and ground almonds. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 6. Stir in water and simmer the chicken on low heat for 15 minutes until tender and the gravy thickens.
- 7. While the chicken cooks, knead whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough. Rest for 5 minutes.
- 8. Divide the dough into small balls, roll them into thin circles, and cook on a hot griddle for 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 9. Garnish the chicken korma with the reserved fried onions and chopped cilantro. Serve hot with fresh roti.
