Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Chicken Whole
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 20 g Cinnamon
  • 50 g Cloves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 200 g Almond Flour
  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Cardamom Green
  • 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
  • 100 g Tej Patta
  • 500 ml Water
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Garlic

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Remove half for garnishing and set aside.
  3. 3. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaf to the remaining onions in the pan. Sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Lower the heat and add ground coriander, garam masala, and ground almonds. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in water and simmer the chicken on low heat for 15 minutes until tender and the gravy thickens.
  7. 7. While the chicken cooks, knead whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough. Rest for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Divide the dough into small balls, roll them into thin circles, and cook on a hot griddle for 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  9. 9. Garnish the chicken korma with the reserved fried onions and chopped cilantro. Serve hot with fresh roti.
